First, the description states that this bag is for women. However, men should feel free to buy this bag in green or black and move on about their business in style. I bought this bag to use as I go about my daily errands. This bag will replace my other errand bag that does not have a zippered top. I consider a zippered top essential to keep my belongings from falling out and becoming lost.Here's my strategy. I looked for an extra large zippered tote bag for daily chores and errands. I chose black so the bag would not stand out when I stash it in the floor of my car. It is hardly noticeable against the black carpet of my car. Most of the time, I stash the bag in my trunk. But when running errands, it is helpful to have the bag handy. At night I will stuff the bag with whatever I need to do the following day. I might need to drop off library books, return goods to a store, stop by the post office or a shipper to send a package, drop off materials to a family member or buy a couple of grocery items. Everything I need to do is in the bag so I won't forget anything. After work or on the way to work, I can knock out an errand as time allows. By the time I return home, usually all my errands are done. If not, I can leave something in there and try it again the next day. This strategy works pretty good for me.I like the two unzippered inside pockets for holding mail or bills or magazines. The zippered inside pocket holds smaller or more valuable things that need extra care or handling.The material of this bag is heavy cotton and it appears to be well stitched. There are shorter (white) handles and longer (black) handles for various carry modes.I noticed that the full length zipper is actually too long on the starting end. I showed this in my second photo. This faux pas shows poor workmanship and lack of attention to detail. I tucked the loose end into the edge of the bag and hopefully it won't present any issues. If it does, I will have to find some time to take needle and thread to sew it in tight and close the gap. This is the issue that causes me to rate this bag 4 instead of 5. Not to worry. This bag is still functional and it is very large for whatever I need to carry. At the $23 price point, this bag still represents good value in spite of its imperfection.
