I ordered this Simplee Womens 2025 Summer Short Sundress Casual Sleeveless Button Down Swing Mini Beach dress because the unusual color (Lake) caught my eye; I was pleased to discover how comfortable it is to wear.

This dress is made from a blend of 65% polyester/30% viscose/5% elastane; the fabric is soft and stretchy, and the dress is figure flattering. I have an hourglass figure, larger up top, and the stretchy bodice and fit and flare skirt showed off my smaller waist and hips.

I like the Henley-style buttons at the neck; with five buttons, you can control how open you want the neckline.

For me, the star of the show is the color; I ordered “Lake”, which is a deep, rich green with blue undertones. My husband took one look and said he loved the color; he called it phthalo green. The color is unusual; I haven’t seen a dress this color before. I have dark hair and very fair skin, whether I wear green, my hazel eyes tend greenward. This rich greeny blue is striking; it looks great with black, grey, navy, and green.

I’m disabled, I’m blessed to be able to work from home, and this kind of comfortable, stretchy dress has become my daily work uniform. It’s easy and quick to get dressed, just pop it over my head. Right now, in winter, I wear this over leggings and under a cardigan; come spring/summer, this dress can go solo.

This is so comfortable to wear all day; no tight waistband, it just skims the body. On rougher days, I need to lie down in the afternoon or even nap; I can grab a nap in this and go right back to work without looking all wrinkled. I’m as comfortable as I would be in pajamas, but I feel better about how I look.

At the current price ($24.99) I think this is a great deal; this is a wardrobe basic that is well made, has excellent, flattering lines, and can be worn through all four seasons. Worn with a black jacket, tights, and heels, it can go out anywhere; come summer I can dress it way down with sneakers or flip flops. Cute, comfortable, and a bargain price.. a new wardrobe favorite for me. And how I love that green/blue color!

The side pockets are generously sized but somewhat visible. This dress is neatly sewn with binding around the armholes and along the back interior neckline to prevent stretching. The soft fabric drapes well and has a generous degree of stretch making it very comfortable. It arrived wrinkled but 20 minutes in the dryer removed them. Machine wash warm and tumble dry low.

I’m 5’4” tall, about 120-122 pounds with a 37 inch bust, 27.5 inch waist and 38 inch hips. My usual dress size is small so I ordered this dress in small which was the right choice. It’s easy to put on and take off over the head due to the stretchiness of the fabric and the open neckline. The fit is very flattering. This dress design accentuates the bust and waist while the full skirt camouflages the stomach and hips. The close fitting bodice conceals bra straps and the armhole depth is perfect. The hem falls slightly above my knees. Overall, a comfortable, figure flattering dress perfect for summer.

I was so excited when I saw this dress that I almost dreaded opening the package. After all, how often is it that we see something that looks perfect for us online only to get it and realize it falls short of expectations? I was happily surprised to find that this dress delivered on its description.

The cut is flattering to most body types, with a bodice that skims the torso and a flared skirt. The fabric is soft and comfortable to wear. It's not fussy to take care of, it's light and breezy, and the color was exactly what I had wanted. I plan to order more for the spring and summer. It will give me something pleasant to look forward to as the brutal polar vortex sweeps down from Siberia. Until then, I'm pairing this with a black turtleneck and tights so I can ride out the freezing temps in comfort and style.
