The gate is well constructed and easy to operate. Installation can be a little tricky, but with some fine tuning it works flawlessly. Unfortunately, it was a tiny bit too wide using two small extensions, but one seemed to do the trick. I stored the additional extensions and hardware in the box just in case I need it for a wider opening in the future.

    Great gate! I use it as a barrier to prevent my 2 puppies from getting into certain rooms. I bought 2 of the gates. The only problem I found while installing the gate is that getting the cups provided to line up with the gate itself. I kept dropping the cups. Otherwise it was easy to install. I like that it automatically closes. Very durable. Easy to adjust to your opening. I bought the white gate to go along with my door casing but other colors are available. Made of metal so it should last a while. Very sturdy. My puppies can’t knock it down like some of the other gates I have. Highly recommended!

    Hello. With the arrival of a 3-month old Aussie in the home, dog gates are a must to contain the cute, but rambunctious, high throttle, and full-time energy puppy. I usually dont write reviews, but this product was 100% spot on the money. Honestly, I always start when reading reviews, with the Four Stars, because lets face it, nothing is perfect. Here are bullets for your quick perusal.

    The Good (in no particular order):

    1. The size options are optimal options for almost any indoor doorway.
    2. The gate durability, craftsmenship and design are very sturdy, stable, and long lasting.
    3. Hardware is ideal and easy to assemble within the gate and by hand screw turns to press against the door frame.
    4. The gate stays very firmly in place. I had purchased other similar models from Regalio gates and they were always a struggle to keep in place, either with humans pushing too hard on the gate or the dog, allowing them to fall over with a firm push.
    5. The door opens easily in either direction, when pushing down on the button and lifting the door to and from.

    The Bad - honestly, I have had the gate over a week, and have yet to find a negative. If one surfaces, I will update this section.

    Overall - the weight, sturdiness, color and effectiveness of the product is two thumbs up, and yes of course, 4 stars.

    I have purchased too many baby gates in my lifetime but this is by far the best. I got this in hopes for the bottom of my staircase where I needed something for the wall to a banister that is uneven. This gate worked and it’s so secure! It was easy to install and it’s easy to use one handed with a door that swings both ways. I love this gate so much I purchased another one for a different area in my house and love it there also. Definitely recommend for safety, durability and ease of installation.

    Well Constructed, Easy to Operate

    The gate is well constructed and easy to operate. Installation can be a little tricky, but with some fine tuning it works flawlessly. Unfortunately, it was a tiny bit too wide using two small extensions, but one seemed to do the trick. I stored the additional extensions and hardware in the box just in case I need it for a wider opening in the future.

    Hopefully my review went through as it disappeared when I tried retaking the photo again!!! NOT HAPPY!!! **ORIGINAL REVIEW- I've worked OVER 12 HOURS trying to install this new gate!!! It said it was supposed to be a SIMPLE INSTALLATION so I thought I would get it as I have arthritis in my hands, well overnight 12 HOURS LATER it's still NOT installed!! I've tried all different ways to get the bolts in far enough into the gate so it could fit into those little cups, last night I could get two bolts into the cups (on the same side) but I couldn't get the other two on the other side. Then this morning I put on a sticky gripping glove and I finally got one of the bolts on the other side in far enough BUT NOT that last bolt!! It wouldn't go far enough in in order for it to fit into that cup into the doorway but yet all of the other bolts went in enough but yet the gate was STUCK in that doorway which is to my kitchen where my pups are and where my medicine is!! And it says DON'T CUT THOSE TIES TO THE GATE SO I WAS STUCK WITHOUT MY MEDS IN WHICH MY HEART RATE IS EXTREMELY FAST AT 147 bpm which my heart meds is supposed to control but I couldn't get to those meds because the gate was stuck with the three bolts and the one without the sticky cup as it won't fit in there with that cup!! Also I now figure out AFTER ALL OF THIS WORK AND TACHYCARDIA THAT I RECEIVED A BAD BOLT THAT DOESN'T WORK RIGHT (as I tried that same bolt in those other extensions and it didn't work in those either!!) , now I NEED ANOTHER NEW THREADED BOLT AND A COUPLE OF MORE OF THOSE STICKY PADS AS I HAD TO PULL ON THAT ONE SIDE TO GET THE GATE OFF SO I CAN TAKE MY MEDS AND SEE MY PUPS!!!!
    **A NOTE TO THE COMPANY- PLEASE PUT EXTRA THREADED BOLTS AND STICKY STICKERS IN THE BOX!!!!
    This was a TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY!!! Hopefully the company will send me these! ** NOTE- this was my ORIGINAL REVIEW that somehow DISAPPEARED OFF OF THE AMAZON WEBSITE!!! Luckily I took screenshots of my review, but it’s still a pain to put together again! I’m RETURNING THIS GATE!!!

    Really sturdy gate that comes with double sided foam 3M adhesives to make a solid hold in our doorways. We use this to contain our son in the kitchen, but it also keeps our dog and cat out. We have a small cat and she hasn't tried to squeeze through or jump over. Our son is 1 years old and can stand up and jiggle the gate and it doesn't budge. Great product!

    So I installed it and all looks fine, But when the door shuts it doesn't lock. To lock it into place, you have to press down on the door. It locks at the bottom but not at the top. No matter how many times you fiddle with the tension screws on the sides, it doesn't fix the problem. They really do need to test this out before putting it out on the market because it's not 100% safe for kids if you want it to block stairs. I would not recommend this to block a child from stairs 😒😒

    The first problem I ran into was that my installation spot is narrower at the bottom than the top (due to the skirting board). It was just too small for two extensions, so I had to use all three. That mean that the top screw pieces were at full extension. It still felt relatively secure, but for a ful installation I probably would have used wood blocks so there was more engagement with the screw thread and the gate itself.

    But then problem #2, once I had the gate installed and removed the strap (they explicitly tell you not to remove the strap before the gate is installed, as the installation pressure is needed to keep the top section engaged) - it turned out that the bottom latch was broken! The top one worked fine, but the bottom one (which has a separate button) wouldn't budge. I made sure that it wasn't something I was doing wrong, but there was absolutely no movement in the bottom part, leading me to the assumption that the connection between button and latch was broken.

    So, either very fragile, or very poor quality control (or both). Returning and trying another brand...
